Today there is no scarcity of schools, yet parents are clueless as to which is the right school that can translate their dreams into reality.

In Champaran we witness two sets of schools: first set of schools run by government sector, which are mostly in Hindi medium, and second set of schools run by private sector, which are claimed to be run in English Medium. Schools run by the government sector, with few exceptions, are not taken seriously by people because they are run in the Hindi medium and also because of poor discipline and lack of teachers/infrastructure. The second set of schools, claimed to be running in the English medium, are taken very seriously by parent community, however, these schools themselves are not taking their students seriously. Instead of promoting concept based learning, these schools are simply pushing rote learning. As a result, by the time students face Board Examination, they are not able to cope up with the academic pressure, even in subjects like Mathematics and Science, in which they were traditionally strong. As far as proficiency in English is concerned, it remains bad even after studying in the so-called English medium schools.

Realizing the challenges, Vedanta Public School (VPS), through its unique and flexible teaching curriculum plans to bridge this gap, where a student coming from an area/family/background where English is not spoken at all, can be made to understand,in contrast to memorizing, all subjects in English apart from developing proficiency in English language. VPS has a strong belief that no subject is interesting or boring per se. If a subject is properly understood by students, it becomes extremely interesting. On the other hand, if students are unable to understand the subject, it becomes extremely boring. For example, Mathematics is very interesting for those students who are able to understand it and extremely boring for those students who are unable to understand it. Thus,Mathematics as a subject is neither interesting nor boring by itself. VPS, with its unique teaching methods will strive to make every student understand every subject, so that all subjects remain interesting for all the students.

VPS has been established not only as a not-for-profit institution,butalso the management has planned a highly subsidized and quality education to students. The management has announced a number of scholarships, so that meritorious students can take advantage of unique teaching methods and get quality education without incurring any expenditure or at minimal expenditure.
