Carrying food from home has always been a problem for students as well as parents. In summer, food prepared in the morning becomes stale during the lunch time, consumption of which is a major health hazard for the students. In winter, it is too cold and un-savory for consumption during the lunch time.
VPS has arranged supply of hot and nutritious lunch, on a no profit no loss basis, to all students, hostellers as well as day scholars. It is made clear that cafeteria services shall be purely optional and students not desirous of availing cafeteria services can make their alternative arrangements.
Further we have provided a separate eating area in the school to our students, whether they get food from cafeteria or they get it from home to inculcate the habit of community lunch and to encourage interaction with students of other classes.
